Launching an all-out new model assault on the Australian bike market at the moment, Kymco has revealed another two models this week.
On top of its ATVs and motorcycles, the burgeoning bike maker says the Sento 50 and Super 8 125 scooters are two of Kymco's "most eagerly-awaited model releases of the year".
With competitive pricing, the Sento 50 boasts a European-influenced design and will retail for $2890.
Meanwhile the Super 8 125 -- more of a niche urban sportster model -- will be priced at $3290 (both prices do not include government and delivery charges).
The Kymco Sento 50 features a somewhat retro style, finished in a two-tone paint job and matching seat.
As well as an under seat ignition code lock security system (which controls the locking of the storage compartment) the Sento 50 gets side and centre stands, pillion foot pegs and a shopping bag hook that doubles as a fluffy dice hook.
The Sento's compact engine is a low emission, high efficiency 4-stroke unit while the front disc brake is clamped by a twin-pot caliper. Electric or kick starters are available.
Kymco's Super 8 125 is a sportier proposition than the Sento, both in terms of aesthetics and performance.
The 125 air-cooled 4-stroke engine provides acceleration while the 240mm 'wave' front disc brake delivers firm deceleration.
Sitting on 14-inch alloy wheels and equipped with a sports screen and clear indicator lenses the Super 8 has electric and kick starts and a digital instrument cluster.
The Kymco Super 8 125 comes in lime green/black, ruby red/black and orange/silver.
