A mint-condition Kawasaki Z1 is worth a small fortune these days, but if the budget doesn't quite stretch to the real thing you could always settle for these commemorative Z1 stamps…
That's right, the iconic Japanese superbike, released onto an unsuspecting world back in 1972 and immortalised in the Aussie cult flick, Stone, is now available as a postage stamp.
These limited-edition two-stamp sets feature the Z1 in its classic 'Jaffa' colour scheme, and the folding format also features a photo of the bike on the front and back covers.
The stamps were commission by Z1 fan website www.z900.us, which approached Germany's Deutsche Poste to get the job done.
In homage to the great machine's common moniker (Z900) a total of 900 sets of the stamps have been produced, so given today's truly global marketplace you'll have to move smartly to secure some for yourself.
Each set costs 10 euros (approximately $15), which the website says includes free postage to anywhere in the world.
