KTM has updated its two-stroke 300 EXC HARDENDURO for 2026, with key refinements to the suspension, cooling system and overall design.
Slated to arrive in Australian dealerships in early 2026, the latest HARDENDURO continues the theme of delivering a race-ready two-stroke-powered package inspired by multi-time world champion Manuel Lettenbichler’s competition bike.
Pricing for the last version is $22,395 ride away. The standard 300 EXC comes in at $19,195 ride away, while the SIX DAYS edition is priced at $21,195 ride away.
At the top of the list of changes for the new 300 EXC HARDENDURO is revised WP suspension. The 48mm WP XACT Close Cartridge fork gains updated preload base valve adjusters, new damping settings, a one-piece hydrostop, lighter and shorter springs, and a redesigned pressure reservoir “adapted to the geometry of the spring support”. The WP XPLOR PDS rear shock has also been updated.
Cooling updates include a new radiator cap designed for quicker and easier opening, while a radiator fan remains standard. A new protection cap for the CPC fuel connector has also been added to prevent dirt from entering.
Elsewhere, the HARDENDURO retains many of the high-spec features from previous versions. Standard equipment includes a map-select switch, ribbed factory seat, ODI lock-on grips, closed handguards, skid plate, brake disc guards, pull straps, cylinder protection and various cosmetic upgrades.
