KTM has teamed up with high-end German aftermarket tuning company BRABUS to create an elegant and high-performance version of its flagship naked bike.
The BRABUS 1300 R takes the KTM 1290 Super Duke R platform and completely transforms it into a luxurious and exclusive machine.
BRABUS is an automotive aftermarket tuner that specialises in Mercedes-Benz, Smart, and Maybach vehicles. Its collaboration with KTM marks its first foray into motorcycle building.

Featuring a wide array of bespoke parts the, BRABUS 1300 R comes in two distinct colourways – Magma Red and Signature Black. Only 77 of each colour will go into production, with that figure representing the year BRABUS was formed.
While the 1301cc V-twin engine from the 1290 Super Duke R remains the same, the BRABUS 1300 R adds BRABUS Monoblock Z wheels, high-end carbon body elements and a custom-made seat.
Other key BRABUS components include a slip-on double-pipe exhaust, air ducts, a headlight mask, CNC-machine parts, a carbon skid plate, and a carbon pillion cover.
Elsewhere, the BRABUS 1300 R adds WP APEX semi-active suspension, a WP PRO steering dampener, 5 ride modes (Street, Sport, Rain, Performance, Track) and a quick-turn throttle.
The BRABUS 1300 R is available exclusively through ktm.com, with pre-orders starting February 14 at 15:00 Central European Time. It is unclear if the bike will be available to Australian customers.
