Thirty percent more 625 SXC motorcycles have been shipped out to KTM dealerships across Australia to keep up with demand of the on-road, off-road machine.
"With Honda ceasing its production of the XR 650 in 2005, KTM will be looking to fill that market with the 625 SXC," said KTM General Manager, Jeff Leisk.
A renowned all round motorcycle the KTM 625 SXC is a sporty road registered bike that can be used for work and play.
Owners are known to use it to go to work, on a farm or to venture to the corner shop. This bike is for anyone who rides in residential areas as well as light enduro trails on weekends.
More than 90 percent of the parts for this bike were originally developed for the racing circuit. The legendary LC4 motor convinces with agile high revving and enormous torque. And the suspension comfortably deals with whatever comes under its wheels between the ice cream parlour and the cross country race.
Popularity of the motorcycle has also grown due to its low level maintenance requirements, making it a reliable and durable machine.
