The 2022 KTM 890 Duke R has received a sharp new look, but otherwise remains unchanged. The new Atlantic Blue paint scheme has been adopted from the KTM 1290 Super Duke R.
KTM also recently announced that it plans to reveal a special 890 Duke GP version on February 22, while the base 890 Duke will arrive in extremely limited numbers.
First launched in 2020, the KTM 890 Duke R is powered by an 889cc parallel twin that puts out 121hp at 9250rpm and 99Nm at 7750rpm.

KTM has dubbed the 890 Duke R the ‘Super Scalpel’ as a reflection of its apparent lightning-fast steering geometry. That is achieved through the load-bearing design of its tubular steel chassis and adjustable WP APEX suspension.
The 890 Duke R also features front monobloc Brembo Stylema calipers with 320mm discs and an adjustable Brembo MCS master cylinder, as well as a set of Michelin Power Cup 2 tyres.
Also featured is a vast suite of electronics including a 6D lean angle sensor, Cornering ABS and Cornering traction control, three standard ride modes (Rain, Street, Sport) and an optional Track mode, and anti-wheelie control. All of this is handled through a simple TFT display.
The latest 2022 KTM 890 Duke R is expected to arrive on Australian shores in the second half of 2022, however pricing is yet to be announced.
