The all-new 2020 KTM 390 Adventure has landed in Australia and is now available in dealerships across the country.
With an affordable price tag of $8,995 ride away, the latest edition to KTM’s travel range provides an entry point into the world of adventure motorcycling.
Derived directly from the popular KTM 390 Duke, the 390 Adventure is powered by a 373cc single-cylinder engine that produces 44hp and 32Nm. Weighing in at 172kg wet, the 390 Adventure has the best power-to-weight ratio in its class.
The KTM 390 Adventure is also packed with technology including a 5-inch colour TFT dash, LED lights and connectivity with the KTM My Ride app. There is also a wide array of rider aids including lean-angle sensitive Motorcycle Traction Control, Offroad ABS and Cornering ABS.
With WP Apex suspension and a lightweight steel trellis frame, the KTM 390 Adventure is designed to travel both on and off-road. With 170mm travel on the front and 177mm travel on the rear, the suspension setup is adjustable and ready to tackle a variety of surfaces.
Brembo BYBRE brakes provide stopping power with a 320mm disc on the front and a 230mm disc on the rear. The bike also features cast-alloy wheels (19-inch front, 17-inch rear), but spoked wheels are available in the PowerParts catalogue.
A 14.5L fuel tank, moulded seat, adjustable handlebar height and windshield, are all designed with long-distance comfort in mind, while a set of Continental TKC 70 tyres are ready for all conditions.
