KTM 350SX-F Factory Edition
The machine which Antonio Cairoli will use in its MXGP title defence next season, and which is reportedly 5kg less than the production equivalentKTM has always been good for delivering up-spec versions of its enduro and motocross tackle, and so it was in Milan recently when it took the wraps off the ‘Factory Edition’ of the 350SX-F.
Italian juggernaut Antonio Cairoli will race the machine in the 2015 world motocross title, as he looks to make it seven MXGP (nee MX1) wins on the trot.
The Factory Edition looks set to form the basis of the 2016 production model, complete with what appears to be – on the surface – a new engine, as well as tracking on a revised stainless steel frame connected to a cast aluminium swingarm. Weight is down as well, by as much as 5kg according to some European dirt bike media.
KTM didn’t divulge any details on the bike in its 2015, other than confirming a weight decrease as well as “increased functionality and even better ergonomics… for the overall goal of better rideability”.
Watch out for Cairoli in 2015!
