Chinese motorcycle brand Kove is finally headed for Australia after striking a deal with local distributor TSM Enterprises.
According to TSM, the bikes are currently going through a “registration and testing phase to meet local standards” and the plan is for customer deliveries by early 2026.
The range will include motocross, rally, and enduro models across several capacities, but TSM says that it will import any Kove off-road models that meet Australian and New Zealand standards, including 510cc and 800cc adventure models.
Motocross will be the initial focus with the brand set to target local racing, but models such as the Dakar-tested 450 Rally should also be popular amongst punters.
Kove Moto was officially founded in 2017, but its history can be traced back to the founding of the Tibet New Summit Motor Co. in 1994, as well as founder Zhang Xue’s participation in the Chinese Motocross Championship in 2007. The brand is now headquartered in Chongqing, China.
The brand has garnered attention in recent years with its international racing efforts, most notably in the Dakar Rally.
TSM Enterprises is a sister company of Hornet Industries, which has been distributing motorcycles and parts since 2005. This includes the Thumpstar brand.
