Keanu Reeves and his motorcycle company, Arch Motorcycles, will have a starring role in a new role-playing video game called Cyberpunk 2077.
Developed by Polish video game firm, CD Projekt, Cyberpunk 2077 will be available on all major consoles, including the new PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. It is based on a tabletop game called Cyberpunk.
The video game is set in the fictional Californian megacity of Night City, and puts players in the shoes of a mercenary called V. Expect plenty of shooting, fighting, exploring, exploding and futuristic cars and motorcycles.

“When CD Projekt approached me about doing Cyberpunk 2077, they were fans of Arch Motorcycle,” said Reeves. “They broached the idea of creating a specialised Cyberpunk 2077 version of an Arch motorcycle. And I thought that was a very fine idea.”

The Arch Motorcycle team used its Method 143 as the basis for the fictional bike, which was designed to match the futuristic setting of the game. Reeves and Arch co-founder, Gard Hollinger, were also enlisted to help capture real-life Arch motorcycle sounds for the game.
Arch was founded in 2011, after Reeves approached custom bike builder Hollinger to help create a custom Harley-Davidson. Reeves enjoyed the process so much that he suggested he and Hollinger start up their own company.

Each Arch motorcycle is customised specifically for the owner, but it uses three models as the base package – the KRGT-1, the 1s, and the Method 143. The bikes are described as American performance cruisers.
Reeves, who was born in Lebanon and grew up in Canada, has gained a cult following for his roles in classic films like Point Break, Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure, The Matrix and, more recently, John Wick. But Cyberpunk 2077 is the first time he has combined acting with his motorcycle company.

Cyberpunk 2077 is due to be released on November 19, 2020.
