Kawasaki Z1000 recall notice

Applies to the new model imported between January and May this year

Kawasaki Motors Pty Ltd has issued a recall notice for its all-new Z1000 naked bike, applying to the VIN range JKAZRCE1#AA000001 to JKAZRCE1#AA000183.

The defect, which affects around 110 units, may see the brake hose come in contact with the front brake rotor, resulting in damage to the brake hose.

The defect can cause brake fluid to leak which will affect the safe operation of brake performance, creating the risk of an incident.

Those owners affected should not use the motorcycle until it has been inspected, modified and deemed safe to ride.

Contact your authorised Kawasaki dealership to arrange for rectification.
