Kawasaki W800 recall

If you own a W800 bought from 2011 to 2015 you should contact your dealer
Kawasaki is recalling W800 motorcycles sold between January 2011 and December 2015. The company says that improper routing of electrical wires under the fuel tank may cause the leads come in contact with frame edge.
In addition, on certain models (VIN JKBEJCA1-A000108 - JKBEJCA1-A015716), the throttle body holder may harden because of insufficient heat resistance. If it is continuously used, the throttle body holder may crack and additional air may flow into the engine.
If either of the defects occur it may cause the engine to stall. In the worst case scenario, this may pose an accident hazard to the rider or other road users.
Customers with affected units will be contacted by mail. Owners with affected bikes should contact their local Kawasaki dealership to book in for repair.
