Created by LSL Motorrad in Germany, this custom 2011 Kawasaki W800 'Clubman' has broken cover just days after the launch of the factory bike at INTERMOT Cologne.
As most of us are absorbing the detail of Kawasaki's new W800 roadster, the guys over at LSL have somehow acquired a pre-production version of the as-yet unreleased motorcycle, and have created a this, nicknamed the Clubman W800 TR.
While the standard-issue roadster isn't a bad looker straight off the factory floor, LSL has turned it into a flat track styled motorcycle, swapping out several chassis components - suspension, handlebars, seat section - to achieve the new look.
Along with more robust suspension, black anodized aluminium wheels help shed weight and Pirelli Scorpion tyres provide the custom Kawasaki with gravel grip.
The only visible performance mod appears to be a free flowing two-into-two exhaust system, which should give the 773cc air-cooled parallel twin more herbs - and voice.
The last LSL Motorrad bike we profiled was based on a Triumph Bonneville, which could be worth a look if you're a fan of retro roadsters.
