Kawasaki launches soft-roader

Kawasaki is set to launch its first home-built entry for a long time into the soft-roader or adventure tourer class, with a middleweight called the Versys.

Built around a version of the 649cc ER6 inline twin powerplant, it runs upside-down forks and a 'gullwing' rear swimgarm. The machine is currently available in Europe.
