Kawasaki H2: red alert
The teaser campaign is drawing to a close – finally we here you say – and the latest is the forced-induction engine being revved to its thresholdKawasaki’s drawn-out guerrilla marketing campaign for the all-new H2 forced induction motorcycle is drawing to a close – and it can’t come soon enough in our books – with the latest video (volume eight) just being released.
This one’s of the engine being given a right fistful, to somewhere near its rev ceiling we’d imagine. With all that conviction, the exhaust headers are glowing red, but just what that translates on September 29 in Cologne (its release date) remains to be seen.
We’re hearing that there may in fact be two bikes: one an all guns blazing 250-plus horsepower track bike, and the other a more sedate – and we use that term loosely -- street iteration. More intrigue, just four days out from the big unveil.
There’s one more video to be released before we can gauge whether the reality matches the hype.
