Kawasaki Australia announces pricing for supercharged Z H2

The new Kawasaki Z H2 continues the Z legacy and offers a supercharged bike at an affordable price point

Kawasaki Australia has announced local pricing for its upcoming supercharged naked bike, the Z H2. Due to hit dealerships in March, the new Kawasaki Z H2 will have an RRP of $23,000.

Announced at the Tokyo Motor Show last October, the Z H2 offers Kawasaki fans the chance to purchase a supercharged machine at the lower price point than the marques other supercharged bikes.

The main attraction of the Z H2 is a 999cc supercharged inline four-cylinder engine, which Kawasaki claims will put out 197hp and 137Nm. The bike also features a bespoke chassis which is designed to promote mid-speed corner stability and uses fully adjustable Showa BPT front forks and a Showa rear monoshock.

Elsewhere, the bike is packed with electronic safety and assist systems including ABS with riding modes, multi-level traction control, quickshifter, launch control and cruise control. There is also a large colour TFT LCD screen and smartphone connectivity.

Stay tuned for the full bikesales review of the Z H2 in the coming months.
