After 10 days and 90 bids, the global charity auction of a bespoke Triumph Scrambler ridden by action hero Chris Pratt in Jurassic World has ended, with the machine fetching $60,100 for Triumph's official charity partner, The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride.
The bike, which was featured in the movie racing alongside Raptors, is one of just three made, with the other two owned by Pratt and Triumph. The owner of the bike hasn't been disclosed.
The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride raises money for prostate cancer research, with 'Gentlefolk' donning their finest dapper and riding their bikes through the heart of their city in organised rides. In 2015 the ride will take place in over 350 cities across 75 countries with more than 30,000 participants. The goal is to raise awareness into preventative measures, and collecting $US3 million along the journey.
