Jonny Walker joins new Triumph enduro team

Triumph has brought in the big guns for its foray into the wild world of enduro racing

Enduro legend Jonny Walker has signed with Triumph as the British firm begins to ramp up its debut enduro racing program.

The Red Bull sponsored athlete will pilot a Triumph machine in the 2025 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship, as well as select hard enduro, EnduroGP, and AMA EnduroCross events.

Walker started his career as a trials rider, but it was his switch to enduro that made him a household name in the dirt bike community.

Hailing from the town of Keswick in England’s northwest, Walker is a three-time Erzbergrodeo champion, as well as a regular SuperEnduro race winner.

Walker recently parted ways with Italian firm Beta, opening the door for him to join Triumph, as it attempts to establish itself in the enduro scene.

Triumph recently announced that former world enduro champion and one-time 007 stunt double Paul Edmonson would take on the role of Team Manager of Triumph’s enduro program.

“To officially be part of the Triumph Racing Factory Team for enduro is another huge milestone in my career,” Edmondson said. “The team and I can now really begin the hard work to achieve the best results possible.”

Walker will make his competitive debut for Triumph on October 5 at the Indoor Enduro of Champions event in Newcastle, UK.

It is unclear if Walker will ride the rumoured specialised Triumph enduro machine, or if it will be a modified version of the TF250-X motocross bike.
