Jones rules the roost in the west

Another clean sweep in a 2015 Australian Superbike Championship round for the Kawasaki rider, this time at Barbagallo

Kawasaki rider Mike Jones has again stamped his authority on the 2015 Australian Superbike Championship, this time by clean sweeping round three at Barbagallo Raceway (WA) ahead of Daniel Falzon (Yamaha).

West Aussies Anthony McFadden (BMW) and Cameron Stronach (Kawasaki) shared the day's third places in the two 16-lap races.

Jones now leads the championship by 29pts (138 to 109) from Falzon, with New Zealander Ryan Hampton (BMW) a further 18pts back in third position.

BARBAGALLO RESULTS

In the supersport class, Brayden Elliot (Suzuki) scored maximum points to take the honours from Alex Phillis (Kawasaki, 3-2) and Sam Lambert (Triumph, 2-4). Elliot leads the series by 19pts from Kane Burns (Suzuki).

The other rounds winners were Lachlan Keogh (250cc Production), Tim Boujos (300cc Production), Michelle Marais (Women's 300cc Production), Rob Wasley (Club Challenge 1000cc), Ray Tschorn (Club Challenge 600cc) and Brian Houghton (Moto3/125GP).
