Join us for the Motorcycle Trader Caper

Motorcycle Trader mag is this year taking its infamous Caper ride from top to bottom -- Mount Kosciusko to Lake Eyre -- and Bikepoint will be along for the ride.

Each year Motorcycle Trader mag gets together a gaggle of the latest machinery from a particular class and takes them on a trip with a difference.

In past years we've had the Cairns Caper -- with big full-dress tourers -- and the Clare Caper, with sports tourers through the famous South Australia winery district of the Clare and Barossa Valleys.

This time it's the turn of the big 'chookies' or rally bikes -- BMW R1200GS and the like. There are eight machines in all, and a host of riders from fairly varied motorcycle backgrounds.

So, what are the victims? BMW R1200GS, Triumph Tiger, Suzuki V-Strom, Cagiva Navigator, Buell Ulysses, KTM 850 Adventure, Honda Transalp, and Yamaha TDM900.

The journey covers some 4000km over eight days and you'll be able to follow it live, right here at Bikepoint. If all goes to plan, we'll be doing daily updates -- so pop in and join us for the ride.

Oh, and feel free to drop us a line or ask a question via email at guy.allen@traderclassifieds.com.au
