James to close West Coast Choppers?

Rumours surface that custom bike builder Jesse James is set to close his shop and iconic brand, West Coast Choppers

According to respected custom motorcycle website CyrilHuzeblog.com, celebrity custom motorcycle builder Jesse James is set to close his California-based shop, West Coast Choppers.

The site makes no mention of a time frame, but it does state “all Jesse James motorcycle frames and parts will be now manufactured respectively by Daytec and Belt Drive Ltd (BDL)”, with the parts “available to order through Custom Chrome International”.

In the wake of the disintegration of his marriage with actress Sandra Bullock after news of an illicit affair with model Michelle "Bombshell" McGee broke last March, James has had an undeniably tough year. While no official word has come from James regarding the closure of West Coast Choppers, it would come as no surprise to anyone if he’s decided to step away from the business that first launched him to fame to take stock of his personal situation.
