Jack Miller looks all but set to depart KTM at the end of the MotoGP season, with the Austrian firm locking in riders for its second-tier Tech3 team.
Re-branded as Red Bull KTM Tech3, the team will employ Enea Bastianini and Maverick Vinales to race in 2025. They join Brad Binder and Pedro Acosta, who will both race for the Red Bull KTM factory squad next season.
Bastianini currently races for the factory Ducati team, but will be replaced by Marc Marquez next year, while Vinales will depart Aprilia at the end of the 2024 season.

That leaves Jack Miller with no seat on either of the KTM teams, after it was announced recently that young prodigy Acosta would take his seat next year.
Whether he can find a seat for 2025, or departs MotoGP entirely remains to be seen. The Australian rider’s form has dropped considerably in 2024, but he is still lauded for his nous in bike development.

The departure of Vinales from Aprilia could open up a seat alongside new 2025 recruit Jorge Martin, while a move back to Honda or one of several satellite teams is also not out of the question.
Also unclear is how KTM’s GASGAS brand will fit into MotoGP now with the rebranding of the Tech3 team. While Tech3 was branded as GASGAS, it used almost identical equipment to the Red Bull KTM factory team.
More to come.
