Italjet restarts

Troubled Italian maker Italjet has been given a new lease of life, thanks to fresh investment.

The firm essentially went out of business nearly two years ago and ended up selling off some of its designs to pay off debts. One of them was the three-wheeled Scooop, which has been re-engineered and put into production by Piaggio as the MP3.

The revived company has gone back to its roots, running with a modest line-up of scooters such as the Jack pictured here, and the wonderfully-named Pit Jet 125 (also pictured).

The innovative and sporty Dragster (pictured with the single-side front suspension) has remained in the line-up.
