In celebration of its 100th anniversary, Moto Guzzi has gifted the President of Italy, Sergio Mattarella, two new Moto Guzzi V85TT motorcycles.
The historic Italian company made the presentation to Mattarella at the Quirinale Palace in Rome this week. In attendance was the President, Moto Guzzi CEO Robert Colaninno, Deputy Chairman Matteo Colaninno, and Board Director Michele Colaninno.

New 2021 Moto Guzzi V7 revealed
According to a press release, the President’s pair of V85TTs will be used by the Reggimento Corazzieri (Cuirassiers Regiment in English), which is the President’s guard of honour. The Corazzieri often pilot motorcycles, and have a long-standing relationship with Moto Guzzi.
In 2016, Piaggio Group presented twenty Moto Guzzi California 1400s to the president and his guard. The bikes were produced in a special edition for the Corzzieri.
Updated for 2021, the Moto Guzzi V85TT is a classically-styled touring motorcycle that is powered by an 853cc V-twin motor. The latest version gets an updated engine, new wheels and new graphics.
Moto Guzzi was founded in 1921 and is one of the oldest European manufacturers in continuous production. Since 2004, Guzzi has been owned by Piaggio Group, but has maintained its headquarters in Mandello Del Lario, on the shores of Lake Como, since its birth.
