The 89th edition of the International Six Day Enduro (ISDE) will be held in San Juan, Argentina from November 3-8, with Australia boasting the firepower to push at the front in both the women’s and Senior Trophy divisions.
In fact, Australia is the defending women’s champion, with Jessica Gardiner also winning the individual classification as well in 2014 – by over three minutes! Gardiner returns with Tayla Jones and Jemma Wilson to try and make it a repeat in 2015, while the men’s teams are as follows:
Senior Trophy
Junior Trophy
Milner was also superb in 2014, finishing second outright behind Frenchman Antoine Meo as Australia was forth in the Senior Trophy.
This year’s edition of the ISDE will welcome 550 riders from 30 different nations. With a vast array of varied and demanding terrain on offer, competitors will face five long and demanding days of riding – covering up to 260km each day across the surrounding countryside. The race will then be brought to a thrilling close on day six on a motocross circuit.
Australia’s main competition in 2015 will come from the likes of current powerhouse France, America, Spain, Sweden, Argentina, Belgium, Germany and Chile. France is the defending champion in the Senior and Junior Trophies.
