The top-spec version of the 2017 Bikesales Bike of the Year is about to get even better with Aprilia using the Intermot show at Cologne to announce semi-active suspension will adorn the 2019 Tuono V4 1100 Factory.
It’s not just any semi-active suspension either, but Öhlins’ Smart EC2.0 system controlling the NIX-30 fork and TTX36 rear shock, which can be switched between manual and three active modes (track, sport and road). As well as the suspension upgrade, the 2019 Tuono Factory gains an Öhlins steering damper, also controlled by the EC2.0 system, as well as a 4.3-inch full-colour TFT dash.
The firm also announced same dash will also adorn the 2019 Shiver 900, which also gets a new exhaust and a two new colour options for the new model year. Changes to Aprilia’s RSV4 Superbikes, the RR and RF, are limited to colours only for 2019.
