Ducati used the 2018 Intermot show in Cologne to unveil its four-tiered 883cc Scrambler range for the 2019 model year, with cosmetic, electronic and ergonomic improvements headlining the changes.
As well as the base-model Icon, the 2019 line-up consists of the flat track-inspired Full Throttle, the retro-styled Cafe Racer and the offroad-biased Desert Sled, all of which receive Bosch’s cornering ABS as standard fitment.
Also common across the range is a new headlight with daytime-running light and self-cancelling LED indicators and the addition of a fuel gauge within the still-LCD instruments.
The Full Throttle model gets an updated black-and-yellow paint scheme which Ducati is calling Hooligan, and is further separated from the line-up with a blacked-out underslung muffler, unique side panels and front guard.
The blue-and-silver Cafe Racer model rolls on wire-spoked wheels, and the bar-end mirrors, passenger seat cowl and headlight surround complement the cafe-racer look.
The 2019 Desert Sled has long-travel and adjustable Kayaba suspension, with Pirelli Scorpion Rally tyres fitted to its wire-spoked 17-inch rear and 19-inch front wheels. It uses a high-mounted front guard and a conventional number plate hanger and a wire mesh headlight guard tops of the retro off-road styling.
All models also boast brushed aluminium fins on their air-cooled V-twin engines.
No word yet on local pricing or availability.
Ducati also unveiled a new colour scheme for the XDiavel power cruiser at Intermot -- Matt Liquid Concrete Grey.
