Aprilia has followed through on its promise and put what is now the world's biggest capacity fully-auto bike into production.
The 839cc Mana V-twin should hit the market early next year, using a powerplant and transmission package developed by Piaggio - one that will be shared by the Gilera GP800 scooter.
The fully-auto V-belt transmission will offer four modes of operation: touring, sport, rain (with a softer power delivery) and a 'manual' push-button selector that offers a psuedo seven-speed option.
We're a long way from seeing pricing for the machine, but the performance should be lively enough, given the claimed 75-horse power output.
