For lovers of Jack Daniel’s, and of Indian Motorcycles, have we got a bike for you… The 2023 Jack Daniel’s Limited Edition Indian Chief Bobber Dark Horse is a rolling homage to JD’s ‘Old No. 7’ Tennessee whiskey, and celebrates a collaboration between what Indian describes as “America’s First Motorcycle Company” and “America’s first registered distillery”.
Developed in partnership with Klock Werks Kustom Cycles, just 177 examples of the bike will be produced, with each bearing numerous cosmetic enhancements to complement the Thunderstroke 116 V-twin that is the bike’s beating heart.
Those touches include Jack Daniel’s branding throughout – on the front and rear fenders, stamped on the solo seat, and on the Montana Silversmith’s badge that also bears each bike’s unique serial number. Then there’s the Jack Daniel’s signature on the rear fender and etched into the bike’s exhaust.
The tank is adorned with a single Indian Motorcycle script ‘I’ on each side, while the V-twin features “non-machined highlighted cylinders and heads, and Cloud Silver painted rockers and pushrod tubes”, which Indian says “gives it a throwback style that delivers a raw metal look”.
However, perhaps most notable of all, is the fact that each bike, for the first time ever, has real Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 whiskey mixed directly into its Super Graphite Metallic paint. It really is the essence of Jack Daniel’s in metallic, rolling form…
Aaron Jax, Indian Motorcycle Vice President, says the model pays tribute to master craftsmanship in many forms. “The Jack Daniel’s Limited Edition Chief Bobber Dark Horse is yet another powerful and dynamic representation of the quality, craftsmanship and attention to detail that is core to both of our brands,” he said.
“This time, we decided to pay homage to Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 – the most iconic of Jack Daniel’s whiskeys – pairing it with the Chief Bobber Dark Horse. Both products are timeless American originals that share a combination of no-nonsense simplicity and premium quality.”
The 2023 Jack Daniel’s Limited Edition Indian Chief Bobber Dark Horse is expected to arrive in Australia in the second half of this year, priced at $37,995 ride away. Contact your nearest Indian Motorcycle dealership to pre-order now.
