Indian Motorcycles has announced first details of its 2017 motorcycle range in the US, with an advanced infotainment system and new paint schemes rounding out the changes.
Standard on the 2017 Indian Chieftain and Roadmaster, Indian says its new Ride Command takes motorcycle infotainment systems to a new level. Indian boasts it has the industry's largest and brightest touchscreen display, plus the fastest response time. In the mid-size range, the Indian Scout is back for 2017 with its reduced weight of 244kg (dry). Colour options span Ivory Cream, Thunder Black, Silver Smoke and Thunder Black Smoke, with the Indian Scout with ABS offered in Burgundy Metallic plus a pair of two-tone finishes.
The Indian Scout Sixty returns in Thunder Black and Pearl White, with the Scout Sixty with ABS offered in Indian Motorcycle Red.
Indian's cruiser line-up sees the return of the Chief Classic (Pearl White and Burgundy Metallic over Thunder Black two-tone) and Indian Chief Dark Horse, while the bagger line-up comprises the Chief Vintage (Thunder Black and three two-tone schemes), Chieftain (Thunder Black Pearl, White Smoke, Silver Smoke and a pair of two-tone schemes) and Chieftain Dark Horse.
The Indian Springfield rounds out the cruiser range in new Steel Grey/Burgundy Metallic and Blue Sapphire/Star Silver two-tone hues.
In Indian's touring range, the Roadmaster returns in Thunder Black, Burgundy Metallic and three two-tone palettes.
The full line-up will be on public display at the 76th Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, South Dakota, USA, over August 6 to 12.
