Indian reveals limited-edition FTR
Just a handful of examples of the new 2022 Indian FTR Stealth Grey Special Edition are expected to reach our shoresFollowing in the wheel tracks of the new Indian ‘Elite’ baggers, Indian Motorcycle has pulled the covers off its 2022 Indian FTR Stealth Grey Special Edition.
Only 15 examples of the ultra-exclusive model will be reaching Australia out of a total global production run of 150 units, with Indian Motorcycle classifying the bike as its “first factory edition specifically designed for international markets”.
The 2022 Indian FTR Stealth Grey features a new paint and graphics scheme “designed to appeal to the international rider who loves American heritage, wants race-inspired performance and craves a modern and sharp cosmopolitan look at the same time,” the manufacturer says.

Powered by a liquid-cooled 1203cc V-twin good for a claimed 123hp and 120Nm, the Indian FTR Stealth Grey offers performance inspired by the brand’s FTR750 flat track racer along with lashings of American style.
Features include ProTaper handlebars, 17-inch rims shod with Metzeler Sportec tyres, an Akrapovic exhaust and Brembo brakes, while the tech runs to electronic cruise control, a customisable 4.3-inch touchscreen with Bluetooth connectivity, three ride modes, wheelie control, rear lift mitigation, stability control, traction control, and Cornering ABS.

“From its incarnation as the flat tracker for the street to the 2022 refinements that upped the street performance to another level, we are proud to introduce the FTR Stealth Grey Special Edition.
“This factory exclusive, designed by our internationally staffed design teams, takes the FTR’s American heritage and iconic silhouette, and combines its dynamic performance with understated, under-the-radar styling.”
The 2022 Indian FTR Stealth Grey Special Edition is priced from $24,995 ride away, which sees the model slot in above the base model Indian FTR (from $19,995 ride away) and Indian FTR S (from $22,995 ride away), but below the Indian FTR R Carbon (from $25,995 ride away) and Indian FTR Championship Edition (from $26,995 ride away).
