Indian Motorcycle has upgraded its liquid-cooled PowerPlus V-twin engine for 2025 with more power and torque.
The new PowerPlus 112 has increased in capacity to 1834cc and is good for 126hp and 181.4Nm of torque. It was developed through Indian’s racing program in the King of the Baggers championship.
Introduced with the Indian Challenger in 2020, the original PowerPlus debuted liquid-cooled performance in the famous American firm’s bagger and touring models.
The Indian Pursuit was also fitted with the original PowerPlus engine, however the fork-mounted fairing Chieftain and Roadmaster models continued to feature the old air-cooled Thunderstroke 114 donk.
But for 2025, Indian has fitted the Chieftain and Roadmaster with the new PowerPlus 112, giving both platforms liquid-cooling for the first time.
The PowerPlus 112 is now standard across all of the PowerPlus models.
