Indian’s first foray into the roadster motorcycle market has arrived Down Under with a sharp price and solid credentials.
The FTR 1200 is a road-going version of the FTR 750 race bike that dominated the 2018 US flat-track title.
The V-twin engine pumps out 123hp and 120Nm and spins up to 9000rpm.

Prices start at $20,995 on the road for the FTR 1200 with ABS-equipped Brembo brakes and an analogue display.
The step up to the S version costs $2000 but adds a 4.3-inch TFT touch-screen, fully adjustable suspension, extra riding aids and a set of three riding modes.
Potential buyers are advised to pre-book a test ride at their local dealership.
