The next-generation Indian Scout platform has been revealed, with the 2025 model offering a bigger engine with more power and torque, and a new chassis.
Pricing for Australia has yet to be announced, but the 2025 Indian Scout range will land in Australia in July 2024 and will include five variants – the Scout Classic, Scout Bobber, Sport Scout, Super Scout, and 101 Scout.
Each of the five models will be offered in two trim levels – Standard and Limited +Tech. The Standard trim is featured on the Classic, Bobber, and Sport, and includes ABS, LED lighting, and an analogue gauge.
The Limited +Tech trim is standard on the 101 and Super models but is available as an option for the other three variants. It includes a 101mm round touchscreen display with Ride Command, as well as keyless ignition, traction control and ride modes.
All five variants are powered by the new 1250cc liquid-cooled V-twin SpeedPlus engine platform, the 2025 Indian Scout is capable of 82kW of power and over 109Nm of torque.
Each variant has its own unique features and styling including a 19-inch wheel on the Sport, saddlebags and a windshield on the Super, and improved suspension and Brembo brakes on the 101. There is also a wide array of accessories available for comfort, performance, and practicality.
First used in 1920, the Scout moniker has become synonymous with the Indian Motorcycle brand. The first version existed until 1949, and the name briefly reappeared in the early 2000s, but the modern-day Scout was born in 2015 after Polaris took control of the famous American brand.
