As the BikeSales Network predicted last month (here), the South Korean-made Hyosung motorcycle range is now fuel injected, with all seven bikes to go on sale this month.
As well as electronic fuel injection (EFI), five of the bikes - the GT250, GT250R, GT650, GT650S and GT650R - have been restyled, with aggressive new lines, an LED tail lamp and clear indicator lenses.
The 650s now also have improved braking, courtesy of four-piston calipers gripping 300mm semi-floating discs.
The marque's two cruisers, the GV250 and GV650, remain untouched apart from the introduction of EFI.
All the 250cc models automatically meet LAMS laws, but so too do all four 650cc models. The LAMS-approved 650s now deliver 54hp, up from 34hp on previous models.
The non-LAMS 650s pump out 80hp from their V-twin engines.
"This is great timing for the Hyosung range. As Australia pulls out of its economic dip, we have a fresh new range for riders both new and experienced," said Hyosung Australia Brand Manager Simon Gloyne. "In 2006 and 2007 the Hyosung GT250R was the top selling 250cc road bike in Australia because of its massive package of features and performance for such a low price.
"Now that package has fresh styling and fuel injection across the entire range, we are aiming for the number one spot again."
The EFI models go on sale this month, with the following recommended prices before statutory and delivery charges:
GT250 $5990
GT250R $6990
GT650 $7990
GT650S $8590
GT650R $8990
GV250 $5990
GV650 $9990
The BikeSales Network will be riding all the 6EFI Hyosung 650s at the Australian press launch on July 15.
