Husqvarna TXC 511 thumps Down Under

A new MX version of Husky's TE 511 enduro thumper is destined to tear up Aussie motocross tracks
The Paul Feeney Group, the Australian importer/distributor for Husqvarna Motorcycles, has announced its model line-up has expanded with the addition of the new 2013 TXC 511.
The TXC 511 essentially takes the big-bore engine, six-speed gearbox and electric start of the existing TE 511 enduro model and shoehorns it into a motocross suspension and chassis package.
While the new model looks like a motocrosser it will come with a couple of enduro niceties, such as an 18in rear wheel and a sidestand. The TXC 511 won’t be ADR-approved.
The TXC 511 will come with an additional Akrapovic exhaust like the regular TE family of models but it will feature a KYB dual-chamber front fork. The bike will be available in Australian Husqvarna dealers by the end of September, 2013.
The TXC 511 retails for $7995 and is covered by a 12 months parts and labour warranty. Visit www.husqvarnamotorcycles.com.au for more information.
