Husqvarna's Concept E-go

Yet another electric model for future generations, this time a “streamlined'' bike from Husqvarna that will make “urban traffic seem like a video game”

Husqvarna’s owner BMW had always been a champion of concept vehicles, and now it looks like the bug has been passed down through the family.

Meet the Concept E-go, which is Husqvarna’s answer to urban commuting for first time riders, who will be rewarded and enthused with “an explosive mix of road, off-road and supermotard experiences”.

Like all concepts, designers can push the envelope as far as they want, which is why the 80kg E-go, tracking on 17-inch wheels, boasts a single-sided double-leg fork, a battery support constructed from aluminium, and the seat is self-supporting.

And it’s a single seat, too, while there’s some realism with the coaxial traction system, which derives from the company’s TE449 enduro bike.

No word on a production date, as yet…
