Husqvarna has updated its 701 line-up for 2020, with the return of the 701 Supermoto and 701 Enduro, plus the introduction of the 701 Enduro LR.
The 701 Supermoto and 701 Enduro have each received a makeover, with model-specific graphics and a bunch of technical updates.
Highlights include new switchable rider modes, new Bosch cornering ABS with lean angle specific braking technology and a new Easy Shift function, which will provide shorter shift times and improved rear-wheel traction. There is also a new lean-angle sensitive Motorcycle Traction Control system.
Also featured is chromium-molybdenum steel trellis frame, a low-weight aluminium swingarm and a high-tech, single-piece construction Polyamide rear subframe with integrated fuel tank.
Joining the Supermoto and Enduro for 2020 is the 701 Enduro LR. The LR stands for ‘Long Range’ and offers additional touring capabilities for riders wanting to take their bike that little bit further. While remaining a lightweight and nimble machine, the additional 12-litre auxiliary tank increases the total fuel capacity to 25 litres.
The 701 Enduro LR’s availability on Australian shores is yet to be confirmed.
