Husqvarna’s new 701 Enduro LR has landed in Australia with a price tag of $18,345 (plus ORC). With a large fuel capacity, the Husqvarna 701 Enduro LR is designed for long-distance off-road riding.
The Husqvarna 701 Enduro LR joins the popular 701 Enduro and the 701 Supermoto. All three bikes utilise the same 692.7cc single cylinder engine, and Chromoly steel trellis frame, but the LR version ups the ante with a 25-litre fuel capacity.
The extra fuel capacity is achieved by adding a 12-litre tank to front of the bike, in addition to the standard 13-litre fuel tank which is uniquely integrated into the rear subframe.
Husqvarna claims the additional fuel capacity will result in a range upwards of 500km.

Despite the extra fuel tank, the 701 Enduro LR only weighs 10kg more than the 701 Enduro, tipping the scales at 155kg.
Like its 701 Enduro sibling, the Husqvarna 701 Enduro LR features front and rear WP EXPLOR suspension, which is designed specifically for off-road and enduro riding.
The bike also features traction control, switchable ride modes, Brembo brakes with Bosch ABS and a slipper clutch. And with 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels, the 701 Enduro LR is primed for off-road use.
Of course, we are also eagerly awaiting the production version of the Husqvarna Norden 901 adventure bike, which successfully debuted at EICMA 2019.
