
Australia’s regulatory body for motorcycle sport, Motorcycling Australia (MA), has announced it is now taking applications from suitably qualified motorcycle clubs and promoters who may be interested in hosting any of a wide variety of Australian championship titles in 2014.
According to MA, hosting a championship is a superb way for a club to raise its profile while also providing a range of financial benefits for the local community. It also gives local riders the opportunity to compete with the best riders in Australia in any given discipline.
MA has announced that the following Australian championships are available for hosting in 2014:
• Australian Junior Motocross Championship
• Australian Quad Motocross Championship
• Australian Classic Motocross Championship
• Australian Historic Road Race Championship
• Australian Supermoto Championship
• Australian Mini Moto Championship
• Australian Solo Speedway Championship
• Australian U16 350cc Speedway Championship
• Australian U21 Speedway Championship
• Australian U16 Speedway Championship
• Australian Speedway Sidecar Championship
• Australian U16 Speedway Sidecar Championship
• Australian Classic Dirt Track Championship
• Australian Senior Dirt Track Championship
• Australian Junior Dirt Track Championship
• Australian Senior Long Track Championship
• Australian Junior Long Track Championship
• Australian Moto Trials Championship
Applications to host speedway championship events must be received by February 1, 2013; applications to host all other championship events must be received by February 28, 2013. For an application form visit
