Honda scores 200th 250 GP win

When Yuki Takahashi (pictured) of the Humangest Racing Team won the recent German Grand Prix he made some more history for Honda.

Just three weeks after Nicky Hayden (Repsol Honda) won the Dutch TT to help the Japanese marque become the first manufacturer to score 200 premier-class victories, Takahashi has helped Honda achieve that same milestone in the 250 category.

Although Honda is best known for its run of success in the big class, the factory has been active for longer in 250s. Indeed Honda won its first World Championship in the 250 class, when Mike Hailwood rode an RC162 to the 1961 title.
