Honda's VT750S steps out of the Shadow

The newest offshoot of the Shadow Cruiser available in a matter of weeks for a very aggressively priced $8990

Honda's all-new classically styled Honda VT750S, complete with upright riding position, chrome finished headlight, imposing twin exhausts, wire-spoked wheels and a teardrop tank, will go on sale in late July for an extremely competitive $8990.

The VT750S has the same six-valve liquid-cooled twin-cylinder engine as the Shadow, boasting Honda's latest PGM-FI fuel-injection system and finned barrels for that 'air-cooled' look.

As for the overall design language, the VT750's 'clean' and classic simplicity sets it apart from the Shadow.

The VT750S has a low 750mm seat height, mid-mounted pegs, 19 and 16-inch rubber, a 296mm front disc and drum brake on the rear, and preload-adjustable twin shocks. The frame is a tubular steel design.

Keep an eye on the Bikesales Network for a full ride report on the VT750S.
