The 2013 Honda Broadford Bike Bonanza, to be held this Easter weekend, will feature a tribute to Honda’s RC30 V-four sports bike.
A total of 12 pristine RC30s are expected to take to the track and several more will be on display, together forming the largest collection of the model ever seen in Australia. Among the collection will be two ex-Honda Australia bikes raced to Australian title success by Troy Corser and Anthony Gobert, the former to be ridden at the HBBB by retired production racer Richard Scoular.
The RC30s will be joined by a wide assortment of off-road Honda models from the 1970s and 1980s, along with all manner of machinery – race bikes, production bikes, road bikes, off-road bikes, and sidecars.
Since its inception in 2009 the HBBB has grown into a massive and truly unique event, allowing lovers of older hardware to shine up and show off their pre-’85 rides and take them for a friendly, non-competitive gallop around the appropriate circuit. With Victoria’s State Motorcycle Sport Complex boasting a road race track, a speedway track, a motocross track and an enduro loop, all comers are catered for.
The 2013 Honda Broadford Bike Bonanza will be held at Victoria’s State Motorcycle Sport Complex at Broadford, 70km north of Melbourne over the Easter weekend of March 30-31. For more information visit www.ma.org.au/hbbb.
