It hasn’t been all about the updated Honda Goldwing at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show, with the Japanese giant showcasing a number of concepts as well as planned production models.
One of the concepts was the Neo Sports Café, which is an “exploration of the next-generation naked sports bike for the mature rider with many years of experience with sports bikes”. So, in essence, all about looks and riding pleasure.
It’s certainly seductive machine, from the tank to the single-sided swingarm, one-piece overhanging seat and high-quality metal components and other materials.
Honda also had its self-balancing electric bike on display, and other concepts included the Super Cub 110 (100-million unit commemorative model), Super Cub C125 and Monkey 125.
In the planned production model corner, the Goldwing was joined by the PCX Hybrid, PCX Electric and Cross Cub 110.
The PCX Electric has a detachable mobile battery pack, and is scheduled to go on sale in Asia in 2018 alongside the PCX Hybrid.
The Cross Cub 110 has a crossover style pitched towards recreational use, and has leg shield and wider tyres.
