Honda MUV700: now $16,999

Is Honda clearing the decks for a new UTV to hit the scene later in 2013? With a 3K saving on the current ‘Big Red', it appears that's the case...
Honda has slashed the price of its MUV700 utility vehicle by $3000, which means ‘Big Red’ is now available for $16,999.
At the heart of Big Red is a four-stroke, liquid-cooled, OHV 675cc single-cylinder engine that feeds power through a three-speed automatic transmission. It has fully independent front and rear suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, and a host of accessories.
Safety features include double-latching doors, three-point seat belts and side nets.
On February 8, Honda unveiled the Pioneer, which will replace Big Red in the company’s UTV line-up. Powered by Honda's fuel-injected 700cc liquid-cooled OHV single-cylinder four-stroke engine that features an automotive-style automatic transmission with hydraulic torque converter, three forward gears and reverse, the Pioneer also incorporates  an adjustable seating configuration that can accommodate two, three or four people. Honda Australia is yet to confirm plans to bring the Pioneer Down Under.
