Honda Dollars campaigns in full swing

And get a job while you're at it

Honda has a number of retail campaigns on the go at the moment, and here’s a summary of how you can get a slice of the action:

  • Between now and August 31, customers will receive $750 "Honda Dollars" with purchase of a CRF450R; $500 Honda Dollars for a CRF250R; and $250 Honda Dollars for the CRF150R/B. The offer is valid on all year models.
  • Between now and July 31, customers will receive $750 Honda Dollars with purchases of the CRF450X and CRF250X, plus a free toolbox kit. The nine-drawer kit includes a T-Bar set and rack, aluminium ramp, tie wire pliers, tyre levers, double sided exhaust bung and an Allen key set.
  • There is a one-off promotion on all minibikes between now and July 31, as well as a lay by scheme available until December 24. The deal includes $250 Honda Dollars on purchase of every CRF150F, CRF100F, CRF80F, CRF70F, CRF50F or TRX90. The lay-by scheme allows customers to pay for their purchase in instalments, and the payment amounts and schedule are flexible. On top of all that, every customer will be entered into the chance to win one family trip to Queensland's Gold Coast for five days including airfares from the nearest capital city to the Gold Coast for two adults and two children (up to 13 years). The prize also includes five nights accommodation at Sea World Resort & Water Park, and entry for all to Warner Bros.

Customers can then spend their Honda Dollars in a variety of ways within the dealership: on accessories, servicing or simply as a discount off the bike.

Meanwhile, are you excited about Honda Dollars, but haven’t got a job to even get to first base? Well, Honda might be able to help you out here too, as it’s just launched a “Careers at Honda Dealerships” board on its website, featuring available positions within dealerships nationally.

According to Victor Colcott, Honda Australia’s General Manager, Customer Service, the company was keen to find a simple solution to connect dealers with potential employees.

“The feedback we are getting is that it has been difficult to find qualified technicians within the motorcycle and small engine industries, and to retain them long term,” he said. “Through the provision of the new job board, we hope to help our dealers to source qualified potential employees, as well as increase the opportunities for job seekers to gain employment with a world leader in engine manufacturing.”

Although the site has been developed with the recruitment of technicians in mind, jobs are also posted for other positions within dealerships including apprentices, parts, sales, marketing and administration.

The new website acts as a reference tool by providing an email address for a contact at the dealership who can then provide more information such as a position description, deadline for application, qualifications required, etc.
