Honda Europe has announced details of its updated 2021 Honda Vision 110 scooter. Known as the Honda NSC110 Dio here in Australia, the 2021 iteration incorporates refreshed styling, new instrumentation, a revised frame and an updated single-cylinder engine, along with a new remote Smart Key that controls both the ignition and the seat lock.
Honda says the scoot's 'eSP' (enhanced Smart Power) engine has been completely redesigned for 2021, with the 109.5cc, two-valve, SOHC, air-cooled, single-cylinder unit producing 6.4kW at 7500rpm and 9.0Nm at 5750rpm.
Retaining its previous Idling Stop technology (which automatically shuts the engine down when stationary) and now with Euro5 emissions compliance, Honda says it's achieved a five per cent improvement in fuel efficiency in the updated model, which helps deliver a potential range of over 260km from its 4.9-litre fuel tank.

An all-new 'eSAF' (enhanced Smart Architecture Frame) chassis sees a laser-welded, pressed-steel frame replace the old tubular-steel item, helping the scoot weigh in at 100kg (wet) – 2kg lighter than its predecessor. Rake is 26 degrees, trail is 71mm, and the wheelbase is a compact 1280mm.
The scooter rolls on a telescopic fork up front and a shock down the back, along with unchanged 14-inch wheels. The combined brake system continues, linking the 220mm front disc with the rear 130mm drum.
Honda says it's updated the model's styling from top to bottom. There's a handy 17.7 litres of storage space under the seat and the new instrumentation combines an analogue speedo with an LCD trip meter.
There's no word as yet on local pricing and availability for the 2021 Honda NSC110 Dio, but the model is currently priced at $4041 ride away (ex Melbourne).
In Europe the updated model has been released in a choice of four colour schemes: Pearl Jasmine White, Poseidon Black Metallic, Mat Galaxy Black Metallic or Candy Noble Red.
