Honda has returned serve after Yamaha was named the top-selling brand in Australia for 2025 by the Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries (FCAI).
According to the FCAI, 92,967 new motorcycles and off-highway vehicles (including ATVs and UTVs) were sold in Australia in 2025, with Yamaha accounting for the largest share. Honda and Kawasaki followed closely behind.
However, with four-wheel ATVs and UTVs are excluded, Honda has declared itself the number-one brand “on two wheels”.
While the FCAI does not release detailed make-and-model sales data to the public or media, it does identify the top-selling brands for each year. Those manufacturers are then free to issue their own communications based on the data.

Honda says it sold 21,901 two-wheel motorcycles in 2025, representing a 10 per cent increase on 2024. That figure, the company claims, makes it the best-selling two-wheel brand in Australia.
More specifically, Honda says it ranked number one in the two-wheel agriculture, mini-bike, trail, naked, and scooter segments.
The brand’s best-selling model was the CRF110F, with 5,310 units sold in 2025 – a figure Honda says makes it the best-selling two-wheel machine in Australia.
The CRF50F was also strong, recording 3,004 units sold, while the CRF250F was the best-selling full-size bike with 1,667 units sold. Honda’s best-selling road bike was the CBR650R, with 1,222 units sold.
It should be noted that only affiliated companies are included in FCAI sales figures, meaning fast-growing brands such as CFMOTO and Royal Enfield are not counted.
