Honda bucks trend with CRF450X pricing

One to think about for for Aussie off-road title

Honda has managed to buck the recent trend in across-the-board price rises, keeping its 2009 model CRF450X at the same price as last year's model.

The $12,990 (plus ORC) 2009 is basically a carry-over machine, with the only differences minor: a new rear white fender and reinforced rear fender extension, new front shroud decals, and a new engine stop that is incorporated into the blinker and headlight switch block.

The electric start 450X, which has won the past two Australian Safaris with Ben Grabham, also continues with the Honda Progressive Steering Damper (HPSD), which is claimed to produce smoother handling in cornering and rugged terrain.
