Homologation for BMW Akrapovic pipes
BMW has announced its range of Akrapovic performance mufflers are now fully homologated for use on Aussie roadsLovely and street-legal: BMW Motorrad’s high-performance Akrapovic pipes are now fully approved for road use.
From February 1, 2014, genuine BMW Akrapovic pipes will be fitted with a homologation label, warding off costly fines for illegally loud systems.
BMW Motorrad says these silencers are lightweight engineering masterpieces, that are now produced by Akrapovic specifically for the Australian market.
The pipes are constructed from high-grade materials including titanium, carbon fibre and stainless steel.
